Special focus will be on craft and things a publisher looks for on the first few pages of your proposal. Did you know that publishers regularly reject submissions within the first five pages (and often on the first page)? Come learn the things that will keep the publisher reading your manuscript!

227 South Main Street in Galax, Virginia. Go the the back parking lot and up the back deck stairs to find the meeting. A parking lot level elevator is available as well. JoyWriters meets upstairs.
New attendees are always welcome; however, if you are not on our e-mail list, please call to confirm meeting place and time. Our meeting venue occasionally changes.
